A major winter storm is expected to bring potentially blizzard-like conditions with heavy, damaging winds and up to 14 inches of snow to the East Bay.
Forecasters expect this storm to cause widespread interruptions to electric utilities and communications networks throughout Southern New England.
The safety of our customers and our staff is Full Channel’s number-one priority. We’re monitoring weather conditions closely and we’ll dispatch technicians and engineers to address repairs, once we’re sure that conditions are safe.
As a reminder, NEVER touch downed utility wires and assume that all wires are energized and dangerous, especially in wet and snowy conditions like this.
Our network is designed with battery backups, but a longer-term power outage may cause some Full Channel services to stop working.
Local channels 6, 7, 10 and 12 are the most reliable TV choices for local storm updates. Should you lose power, a battery operated radio may be used to tune FM and AM radio stations for storm-related news and information.
Thanks for your patience as we work safely to maintain communications services here in the East Bay.
